SPECIAL NEEDS
Residents of all ages with special needs, those without transportation, and the elderly require extra attention and preparation in order to stay protected in weather emergencies. Our Pinellas County government has prepared information for the residents who need our help during a disaster. To find more information on planning for such an event and fill out the “Special Needs Form” if you are in need of special assistance during a weather emergency. Planning needs to happen early so don’t wait until a disaster hits since emergency personnel may not be able to respond when high winds make road travel hazardous.
